Work Related Projects:
Video Production: I’ve done two small projects; a one and a half minute short film and a trailer for an imaginary film within a group of five people. My roles in these projects included planning, storyboarding, filming and editing. I’m currently working on an interactive computer game that uses video to tell and enhance its story also within a group of five.
Work Experience:
Bahrain National Television Telephone Operator/Assistant
Channel 55 Summer 2002 ‘Beatlab’
Worked on a live entertainment television show ‘Beatlab’ where people could request and dedicate music videos, which was on once a week. My role was to answer the incoming phone calls and transfer them live onto the show; I also did occasionally type up the autocue.
From my experience there, I appreciated the hard work and the techniques used (i.e. chroma-keying) in creating a live television and also the problems that can occur and how to find solutions in time before disaster happens.
Additional Information:
I enjoy music very much although I don’t play any whatsoever and also very passionate about filming and working behind the camera. I very much enjoy watching comedy shows and music videos and any type of entertainment in general. I’m a hard worker willing to learn, and learn quickly. I’m very enthusiastic and a quietly determined personality.
