CESR stands for Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration. It’s a pathway offered by the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK that allows doctors who haven’t completed a GMC-approved specialty training program (such as CCT in the UK) to still gain entry onto the Specialist Register.
