Redirect your focus on your positive qualities, or a positive way of dealing with the situation at hand. 2- Practice yoga and mediation Yoga teaches you the art of control. Slow effortless exhalation triggers a sense of calm and well-being to the body cells, it relaxes the facial muscles, and release tension. In turn, the brain learns to relax and becomes still and rested. 3- Prioritize your time Often stress is a result of over committing your time. Stop and assess your priorities. Ask yourself if the task at hand is worth addressing. 4- Find Time to relax:- Your mind and body are connected. When your mind is healthy, your body can resist illness better. When your body is healthy your feelings are more positive. During stressful times, take care of both for maximum health and satisfaction. 5- Exercise regularly:- A healthy mind is in a healthy body. After getting you doctor's approval, select a workout appropriate to your age, fitness level and your living style. 6- If you can't solve it forget it:- Learn to "Let Go" of things which are outside your control. Through social pressures or other types of conditioning, we tend to focus on issues that we are unable to solve. Think about the likelihood of your ability to solve an issue; if it is remote, let go. 7- Take action:- Learn the 80/20 rule. Spend 20 percent of the time defining the challenge and 80 percent on the solution. People who stress out all the time spend 80 percent on the problem and very little on a solution. 8- Leave toxic matter behind:- A big negative effect from stress is the way people choose to deal with it, turning to nicotine, alcohol, preb2d***iption drugs and junk food. Stop Alcohol and try to avoid Caffeine, fats and sugar as much as you can and give up smoking. 9- Enjoy Solitude:- Spend time walking along the beach, in your room, your garden or go away for the weekend. Use this time alone to reflect on your thoughts and feelings about your life style, relationships, goals and aspirations. 10- Answer your life's calling:- Give your time to something or someone you believe in. It maybe something as simple as painting, writing a book, playing with a child or volunteering in a center for the disabled that brings you peace and contentment.
