Cost push

- high cost of production = high prices

- High costs of production= high purchasing power of money= higher wages= lower

profits

- Wages is the main factor that affects costs

To end cost push inflations you must increase productivity and CPI.

If they are stable trade unions will stay quiet.

Trade unions push wages.

During recovery, trade unions ask for higher wages, business firms give higher

wages, but to maintain profits they increase prices, this is called money

illusion.

Demand-Pull:

AD increases= higher wages= higher costs

During this time, prices will go up and it will be a good incentive for

investment. higher investment= higher GDP. If it maintains, expansion plans for

the future will be made.

وهذي حق فيلبس كيرف

-An economic concept, developed by A. W. Phillips, suggesting that inflation

and unemployment have a stable and inverse relationship.

-The theory states that with economic growth comes inflation, which in turn

should lead to more jobs and less unemployment. The concept has been proven

empirically and some government policies are directly influenced by it.

- Higher the prices, the lower is unemployment

- Lower the prices, higher is the unemployment

Philip’s curve should shift to the left because it is better, unemployment

decreases.
